Protect your eyes while browsing the social network in bed, When you consider the reality that the Facebook website and app has a dark mode option – and even the data-saving Facebook Lite mobile app has it – it’s more than a little surprising that the iOS and Android app does not give the same features.
Well, this is about to alteration. Facebook is now publicly testing a dark mode component in its ceremonial mobile apps – here’s what you need to know.
However Facebook has not yet made an official declaration on the new dark mode option, news of its publication comes from a very trustful source. A Serial leaker and app backpedal engineer Jane Manchun Wong give the news with a video message made in co-operation with Facebook’s tech comms manager Alexandru Voica.

So how do you go about on the coveted dark mode? Unfortunately, because this is a test yet, there is no way to guarantee you’ll get dark mode on your devices Android or iOS device right now. Facebook appears to be rolling out the characteristic to a select number of users, and there are no chances you can use it to get the option shows up for you as it is a controlled server-side.
You can take a look to see if dark mode is available by the Facebook app and head to settings. Tap in the Settings & Privacy section, and if you’re blessed you’ll watch the dark mode feature waiting to be enabled – if not, you’ll just have to be patient until you will get it.
